Footers Not Changing

I am trying to change a footer within one section. When I
look at it in Print Layout view it has the old footer that
I do not want. When I look at the footer in the Footer
view, it has the text that I do want. It seems like there
is something hidden. This is a document that someone else
had worked on but I need to revise it. I even deleted it
in the Footer view, but go back to Print Layout view and
the old footer is still there. Any ideas?
