Footers

My footers do not automatically appear on my printed document. If I add 3
lines below my footer detail (in the footer dialogue box), then it will print
on the document. How do I correct this problem so that footers are
automatically adjusted to print on my standard /ormal document.?

buy a printer that can print closer to the bottom edge of the page (some
printers have smaller non-printable areas along the page edges than others).
