Footers

For my dissertation, I have to put at the foot of each page the word count
for that page and the cumulative word count to the end of that page. I was
trying to use footers but you can't customise the footer for each page, as
the word count to be inserted changes by page whereas the footer is 'fixed'
and the same for each page. I'm using Word 2007. Is there a way of doingf
this? Thanks

I believe you may be able to, but haven't attempted it in 2007 - this is the
Mac Word group & 2007 does things a bit differently than other versions -
Mac or PC. Check in with one of the PC Word groups listed here:
