Footnote problem

Hi,

I have a very long document which contains a lot of foot notes. After
revising I deleted some footnotes and added some other, but, the continuity
of the footnote numbers is lost (Numbering parameter of all the footnotes
are "Continous"). Is there any way to rearrange all the footnotes numbers?

Any help would be appreciated.

Were these automatic footnotes? Do you have Track Changes enabled? If so,
what happens if you accept all the changes?
