Footnote Separator Followed by Line Space

I have a line space between my footnote separator and my first footnote. The
footnote style has "0" points before each footnote ("6" points after to
force space in between). I can't find a way to get rid of the line space
after the seperator. I have tried going to normal view, view footnotes, then
delete it, but nothing happens.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

It's not exactly a Line Space. The empty paragraph for the footnote
separator is going to be there no matter what, I think. To minimize it, try
deleting the separator, and then formatting the paragraph mark as 1pt.

On second thought, I don't think that's what's you are asking.

See if the separator has Space After set. Or, see if you can delete the
space after by backspacing from the end instead of selecting and delete.

I didn't find where to check "Space After," but I was able to show "markup"
to see the paragraph code, and then format the paragraph for 0 pt. After.
Thanks for the help!
