Footnotes and Endnotes

This is a twofold question - using Word 2000

(1) I have done a document with several footnotes. In a couple of instances, the footnote (the note itself) has appeared on the page following where it should be. For example, I have three footnotes annotated on page 3. Only two of the actual notes appear at the bottom of the page; the third actually prints on the bottom of page 4, topping the list of those that should appear on page 4 anyway (if you get my drift). What would cause this to happen? It is a university assignment and therefore imperative that we get it right!! You might ask whether this annoation is in a paragraph that wraps onto the next page - the answer is no. However, it does occur at the end of a paragraph at the bottom of the page in one instance

(2) In addition to the footnotes on the various pages, we want to also note them as a bibliography at the back of the document. In Word 2000 we can choose footnotes OR endnotes. Is there a way of doing both, without having to copy and paste

Keep up the good work on this site - we couldn't manage without you!

For the first problem, see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/FootnoteOnDiffPage.htm. As for question
2, I don't think there is any way to do this automatically, and there really
couldn't be since the format for footnotes and bibliography is different in
most styles.
