Hello. I'm writing a paper, and I'd like help formatting my footnotes. Rather than having the annotations appear at the bottom of the page (as footnotes), I want the whole page to be in two columns, with my text on the left side of the page, and the annotations on the right side of the page. That way, instead of looking down at footnotes, a reader can look across at the annotations. Like:
Text*Text I *footnote
TextText* I *footnote
TextText I
all on one page. Is this even possible? I tried to find templates (because I think this is sort of what templates are for) but I couldn't find anything, and I've been playing around with Layout and Page Setup and all kinds of stuff. Nothing.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
