For FP2002, Need Application to reduce Size of MP3 File

I'm working with a few MP3 audio files on FP2002 web pages. A couple of
them are very large. So, I need some application that can shrink them to a
manageable byte size.

I shall greatly appreciate your suggestions.

Try Awave Studio... it has a batch file converter -you can vitually
convert any audio file into almost any other !

try converting mp3 to wma - you'll get a much smaller file and little
quality loss - could get it down even more by setting the khz to 22000
(in awave batch converter).
though if your wanting to place a sound/music file on a site for
visitors to Listen to... I'd suggest streaming it in flash ~ but.
that's a whole other topic!
(~ though you'll probably find something a whole lot cheaper - try a
search for "audio converters", or "mp3 to wma" ~.... )
