LEE!!! I sent you email but it came back as not real.
Mine is real...please email me!!!

I DID try setting it and it says that Enlish US is default
but it STILL converts everything to Japanese.

Do you know HOW to reinstall WORD? IT came with my
computer.

My daughter is 13 and I am dumb...lol.... PLEASE I know
you can help us!

Debi,

I know of one more thing to try. After that, this is out
of my league

Close Word and any other Office applications. Go to
Start/Programs/Microsoft Office Tools/Microsoft Language
Settings. You will see a list of enabled languages in the
box on the right. Japanese should be listed there. In
the box on the left, scroll down and deselect (click on
the check mark to remove it) the languages you do not
want. Make sure English (U.S.) is selected. Look at the
box on the right again to make sure that English (U.S.) is
there. Click OK. You may be prompted to restart your
computer. Open your document again.

My e-mail address on the discussion board has '.nospam' in
it because spammers pull addresses from there. Just
delete the .nospam part to get my real address
