For MVPs who have seen the upcoming version of Publisher

Will the Publisher version that may be released in 2006 work with a website
created with earlier Publisher versions, i.e., 2000?

I myself haven't tried a 2000 file with it. But from someone that has done so
extensively I've been told some issues existed and had been reported. But
we're still early in beta 1. We won't really know what to expect until beta 2.

Does the new version create bloated code? Does it produce web pages that render
well in other browsers (other than IE)? Does is have a way to migrate to
FrontPage?
