Thanks for that link. What is the difference between the "professional"
versions of Word etc and the "other" kind?

None.

Word 2003 is identical in any edition of Office 2003.

Word in the Works Suite differs from Office 2003 Word in that the Works
Suite retains Word 2002 for compatibility with older versions of Windows.

Hi Don,

Unfortunately, starting with Office 2003 it's no
longer true that Word 2003 is the same in all
editions of Office. Word 2003 in Office 2003
standalone and in Office 2003 Professional edition
has additional capabilities for creating *custom* XML
schema based files and some Rights Management sharing.
