I have a setup that requires all outgoing email should go through one SMTP
account no matter what account it came from.
Here's the setup.
Outlook 2007 setup with 2 external POP3 mail accounts and one internal use
only exchange account. I need to make sure ALL outgoing email goes out the
one default POP3/SMTP account regardless of where it came from. What I'm
finding is Outlook ignores the default account setting and defaults to the
account that matches the incoming email address. This causes problems when,
on occasion, email is routed through the exchange server which is not setup
to handle external mail at all.
Is there a way to change this behavior?
