Force attached Word doc in email to use Page Layout view?

This is Word/Access/Outlook 2003.

I'm generating a Word doc from Access, using a Word template, and
attaching it to an email message. When the users get the message and
open the attached doc by double-clicking in the Outlook message
window, it defaults to some weird Web view. Can I force the Word doc
to open in Page/Print layout view?
