force forward as vCard in outlook?

Most of my users right click the contact and select forward to send to someone else. In outlook though the default for this is to just send the information in an RTF format attachment that other outlook clients interpret as a vCard, but clients like outlook express don't know what it is, it just shows up to them as a blank attachment.

If I go to actions and select forward as vCard this doesn't happen, it works fine - So, is there any way to force this to be the default method for sending vCards in outlook? If so, what, if any, would be the downside to this?

No. Users need to explictly send a vCard.

there's no way to force this as default behavior?

What the heck is the point in not sending vCards by default anyway? Seems
like a useless hassle for no reason.

You can send your suggestions to (e-mail address removed) and
(e-mail address removed). There are lots of areas where Outlook's support of
vCard and iCalendar could be stronger.
