Force outlook to recognize my own protocol

Hi all,

i made a new protocol called "myprotocol:"

if i type something like myprotocol:maparameters in IE or Start/Execute, the
system
launches correctly the program associated - no problem.

my question:
how can i make "myprotocol" recognized in outlook when i write an email ?
(i'd like that "myprotocol:maparameters" been recognize as a link like http,
news, callto etc....

any ideas ? thanks.
