Force Users Out of MDE

I'm using Access 2003 and I have several users that use an shortcut to an mde
that's on a server.

I'm having a problem with users leaving the mde open all the time. These
users have read only permission so I don't have to worry about lose of data.

I've tried one of the force out suggestions. This works on the mde that I
have open but it doesn't effect the other mde's.

Is there a way to close any mde that's open?

Yes but you need your application to be split into front/back ends and
supply each user with their own copy. When you've done that then I suspect
that the method that works on *your* mde will work on them all.
