Forced Repair

In ON 2003, a forcerepair could be done through the command line. I tried a similar command for ON 2007 and the page with errors simply loaded. Is the command line in ON 2007 different from ON 2003?

I am receiving the error "An unknown error occurred while opening this page." ... This happened after being told to do a repair on the Unified Notes.one. The result was 24 new pages showing on the right side with the error message. The pages cannot be deleted because a right click shows only grayed out options.

Any suggestions?

If you can share the pages with Microsoft (meaning they are not
confidential), find the respective section file (I am thinking it might
be Unfiled Notes.one) and submit it via Connect to MS. They are keenly
interested in knowing about these kinds of errors, so that they can be
fixed for future ON 2007 beta releases. Before you try anything else,
make a copy of the section file, or do the submission as your first
thing.
If your notebook files are locally on the same machine that this
happened to you, the first thing to try is deleting the cache. In your
case, please rename the cache file to something else instead of deleting
it as Microsoft might be interested in it as well.
The cache is stored in Documents and Settings\username\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\OneNote\12.0
There is only one file in that directory and it's called something with
one note cache in it.
When you open OneNote again, it should rebuild the entire cache. Is the
problem still there afterwards?
