Forced Upgrade to Office 2003

Darren

I had reinstalled my legally purchased Office license onto a new computer
after my laptop hard drive crashed a year ago.

The automatic Office upgrades recently upgraded everything to Office 2003,
and now all programs say I only have XXX number of uses left before I have to
purchase new software.

Has anyone else encounter this? Why should I be forced to pay for new
software? I'm not installing on multiplpe computers, etc.

Automatic updates never install a newer version of Office.

If you had to reinstall Office on another computer, did you activate it?
Use the Help pulldown to get to the activation.
