forcing a report to start on a new page

our company despatches over 300 items a day. They go out to between 30-50
different hospitals. i am using a database to record everything that is sent
out at the end of the day. i am also hand writing a despatch note for each
hospital. my hope is to be able to press print and have the database print a
report that has each hospital on a seperate page with all the jobs that are
going to that hospital on each of the pages.

I know that the report will need to be sorted by hospital. what i don't know
is how to force it to start a new page for each hospital. could someone help.

any help would be appreciated.

In the report Grouping and sorting (in the menu bar select view > sorting and
grouping), select the hospitals field name, and on the buttom select to have
footer for the hospitals.
Close the dialogbox and youll see the footer add up to the buttom of the
report, in this footer add a page break, that will force a new page for each
hospital

Hi everybody,

Your question is useful for me, but I have another question related to the
same problem:

When I print out the report, how I can separate each record on one page??

For example: I have a database that generates a report for each employee
with a detail information about his customers, when I want to print out
reports on my desktop it is printed as one file instead of separate files for
each employee. How I can generate separate report for each employee???
