Forcing a view...

I've got apublic folder that holds project status information. Info is
collected via a custom form and displayed ina a custom view. Is there a way
to force the view to default to the published custom view so that users
don't have to switch to the custom view the first time they visit the
folder? Thanks.

To force users to see a custom view when they open a public folder:

-- Create the custom view, choosing the "On this folder, visible to
everyone" option

-- On the Properties dialog for the folder, on the Administration tab,
select your view as the initial view on the folder.

-- Choose View | Current View | Define Views, and at the bottom of that
dialog, check the box for "Only show views created for this folder."

All I was missing was the initial folder view setting on the Admin tab. I
knew I'd seen it before and must have overlooked it 10 times in my recent
search for the setting. Thanks, as always...
