I normally write my spreadsheets with a basic password to prevent accidental
deletion of formulas. This password is for the 'protect sheet' option and is
publicly available should anyone need to make a change. On one spreadsheet
however I put in a different password to protect a copy as an original
spreadsheet. A 'virgin' copy if you will so that if someone does hose the
working sheet, at least we have a known working copy to revert to.
Of course, I put that password in a while ago and now I can't remember it.
Is anyone aware of a tool (preferably freeware) that will remove the
password to the 'sheet protection' feature? I can't unprotect the sheet and
make the changes that I need to make.
TIA
