Forgot to remove test drive from my mac

Well not really forget, didn't know. Then I went to remove it after
the fact but it looks like it'll remove the office folder with it. Is
that what will happen? I really need it for school soon and can't
aford to loose the whole thing. I just bought the standard edition and
would hate to have it lost.
Thank you,
Billie

I'd recommend running the Remove Office app to remove all of Test Drive,
then reinstalling.

You won't lose any documents. If you have installed custom templates or
add-ins in the Office folder, remove them prior to running Remove
Office. Similarly, if you want to keep customized XL toolbars, etc.,
save the applicable files in the ~:Library:preferences:Microsoft folder.

It won't take long to reinstall, and you'll save potential problems down
the road if you make your installation clean.

That answers my question too. Thank you, JE McGimpsey.

It would be nice if the installer would offer to remove the Test Drive or at
least provide a warning about removing it. I didn't even know it was on my
new Mac, which I just got two days ago, until after I installed Word 2004. I
tried to import a Contact from Entourage into Address Book and got a
message about the Test Drive.
