Form and SubForm records

Hello all,

I have a main form with a subform. Main form contains quotes, subform
contains revisions. I have a field in the main form named
amount_updated. As the user enter revisions (in the subform) I want to
populate the field amount_updated (in the Main form) with the last
revision entered.
I have no idea how to do this, can somebody please help me?

Forgot to mention, Main form is in Single Form view, subform is in
datasheet view...not sure if it matters
