Form Captions are wrong

Dianne

When I create a form using Autoform (either columnar or
tabular) I am asked to save the form when I close it for
the first time. If I change the default name (which is
the name of the table I used to create the form) it
changes the name of the form in the object list. But
when I open the form, it has not changed the caption at
the top of the form window. It still reads the name of
the table I used to create the form. I am SURE this
never used to happen before I upgraded to XP. I know how
to go in to the form "properties" and change the
caption. I just want to know why this is happening now
and if I am doing anything wrong.

Dianne,

As far as I know, this behaviour in Access 2002 is not different from
previous versions.

Dianne,

No, it's not XP. Over the years I've used combnations of Access (who
remembers anymore? was it 2?), Access 97, Access 2K and Win3.1, Win95,
Win98, Win2K and this has always been the case. Perhaps you never noticed
before.
