Form control size in XL2007

for some reason, my excel's radio buttons and checkboxes made from
form controls don't resize when dragged.
i stopped using form control checkboxes and went with marlett
checkboxes, but what do i do about the radio button?

i don't know enough about activex radio buttons, so i can't compare

also, MS's kb on form controls seem wrong, so that didn't help at all.

any suggestions will help.
