form default value

If I have two different forms based on the same table...can I set a field
default value in one form, as a certain value, and set the default value on
the other form as a different value, and ....I guess I'm asking can a field
default value be different on seperate forms for the same field on a
table/query?

Controls on forms have default values and each form can have it's own set of
default values. I would suggest you use queries as the RecordSource of your
forms rather than a table. If you are talking about the default value in the
table then NO, there is after all only one table.
