I have been trying to get a form up and running using FrontPage 2002 and
have not had any luck. When I add the e-mail address for the info to be sent
I keep getting the following message:
This form is being created on a Disk-Based Web or the FrontPage Server
Extensions have not been configured to send e-mail. Please direct your
system administrator or Internet Service Provider to the instructions in
"Setting up e-mail options on Windows" or "Setting up e-mail options on
UNIX" in the Server Extensions Resource Kit, you can find it at
http://microsoft.com/frontpage/wpp/serk.
I am using Win XP Home and the extensions have been installed (several
times) on the server. Also the link to get the resource kit is not working
cause I keep getting an error page not found. When I go the long way and
try and download I get another error that I need to install IIS 4.0 or
higher which I can not find.
Where do I go from here?
