Form field question

Mark Flynn

I created a from, with a confirmation page. The form connects to the
"results" table in Access which is in the "fpdb" folder. Everything works,
except for a field that I subsequently added.

1. I added a check box entry on the form, and added the corresponding field
in Access.
2. I double clicked the check box, and named the check box, and "tab order"
in the Check Box Properties.
3. In the "Saved Fields" tab of the Options for Saving Results to Database,
the field displays as "C1" and not the name I gave it in the Check Box
Properties. The name in the "Database Column" is correct. (The "C1" field
was originally created when I made the form using the Database Wizard. And
I re-named this "C1" field to "OfficeWork" in Access, and "Office Work" on
the form.)
4. When I enter a check in the "Office Work" check box, the result does not
show in the database or on the Confirmation page.

What am I doing wrong?
I'm using FP 2000 and Access 2000. The server at my IPP is running some
flavor of Windows server with Front Page Extensions.
The URL for the page is: http://www.josephinedemocrats.org/Volunteer1.asp
The offending field is "Office Work"
Thanks, Mark Flynn

Hi Jeff:
Thanks for your reply. I went back and fiddled around in the Database
Wizard; and every thing works.
I never did figure out what I was doing wrong. Probably I should
experiment, using a "test" form and confirmation page. Testing should help
me get a better grip on what I'm doing vis-a-vis FP and Access
Thanks again, Mark Flynn
