Form Field Size

I need to add some form fields to a document and I want to fix the
width of the filds so that they do not stretch and mess with the
formatting of the rest of the form if the user input is wider than the
field. I also do not want to restrict the length of the user input.

I have already created the form as a PDF and Adobe allows you to fix
the width of the form fields and when a user comes to the end of the
field and continues typing the font automatically decreases to allow
for this extra input - very cool.
