Form Fill Document

I am using Word 2000

I have a form fill merge document. I enter data and it
prints out on a form exactly where I want it. What I want
to know is - Is there a way to format a cell to dollars?
So that if I enter 32201 it will print out $32,201.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

If you identify the form field as a number, there are a variety of numeric
pictures you can apply (including the one you want), or you can define your
own.

Yes. Unlock the form. Double-click on the field (cell). Change the data
format to number and set a money format. Close the properties dialog and
relock the form. Note, you will lose any data currently in the form when you
do this, so you probably want to do it to the template. What you are talking
about is what Word calls an "online form." Check this in help. For more

Hope this helps,
