Form Help Please

I have downloaded a form from MS Word 07 and the form has a table with
headings, ex: Name, Date, etc...After each heading name the form has a
vertical blue dotted line that divides that title cell from the next cell
where you type the info, however that line does not print. When I am
creating new cells, the line that forms does print....how can i duplicate
that blue line as i do not want the line printed, it is more of a visual on
screen line.....

Select the table and right mouse click. From the drop down menu select
BORDERS AND SHADING then select BORDERS NONE. Borders should disappear.

Jane,

Thank you, however what i am actually looking at is blue lines that show on
the screen, however do not print......I want them to be visual on the
screen....but when printing they are gone....I found this in a template but
do not know how it is done....

If you want the lines to print then select the table, right mouse click as
before then instead of selecting BORDERS NONE select BORDERS ALL and change
the line colour to blue.

Jane-

Thanks again....However maybe i didn't explain it correctly......I'll
explain again, maybe you can help.....I just want to clarify....

Here is what i want...... I want a blue vertical line that shows on the
screen, however does not print.... I do not want it to print........I have a
feeling it's not even called a border??? I don't know what it would be
called.

I downloaded a form that has this, and i need to add to this form with more
cells....
Thanks again for your help.....I hope i have clarified what i am looking for.

You have already been given the answer you sought. The lines you are seeing
that don't print are table gridlines. The lines that do print are borders.
In order to see the gridlines and not have borders, you have to remove the
borders. To do this, display the Table Tools | Design tab, select the cells,
click the arrow beside the Borders button, and choose No Border.

If the gridlines are not displaying, then display the Table Tools | Layout
tab and click on the View Gridlines button to turn it on.

Note, however, that if you have added cells to an existing table in any
ordinary way, the new cells should have the same formatting as the existing
ones, so I'm not sure why you have borders to begin with.

Select the CELL that you want then right mouse click. From the drop down menu
select BORDERS AND SHADING as before then from this new window select the
specific border that you want from the SETTING menu (probably CUSTOM), select
the STYLE of line and COLOUR of line then in the PREVIEW section on the right
hand side of the window select the parts of the cell where you want the lines
to appear.

Alternatively, select the table and when the TABLE TOOLS highlights select
DESIGN then NO BORDERS then switch to LAYOUT under table tools and select
VIEW GRIDLINES
