i have numerous excel spreadhseets which i want to allow
my users to send to me in an email format which looks the
same as the spreadsheet. Because what i want to do is.
have them email me this request in the format that i have
set out so i can immediatley print the message in the
format i want. is there any way to do this.

One solution would be to show the users how to use the File | Send to | Mail
Recipient command in Excel. Before we discuss others, you'll need to supply
your Office version.

For Office 2000 users, the command I mentioned earlier is going to be the
best technique.

this does not work as when i send the message for review,
the user cannot modify the message. Plus what i really
want if possible is for them to have the excel sheet
layout in the email message (NOT AS AN ATTATCHMENT) with
the grid lines and usual excel layout.

The user certainly should be able to modify the message before they send.
What symptoms are you seeing? This technique does not send an attachment,
but converts the spreadsheet content to a table in an HTML message.

You asked for "an email format which looks the same as the spreadsheet." Did
you try the procedure I suggested? Are you now saying that "looks the same"
isn't good enough and that you want something else?

And it should be a web page format that "looks the same as the spreadsheet,"
as you originally put it. If that's not what you want, tell us what's
missing.
