form issue

I have a form that has multiple subforms. All but one of
which works. This subform is linked to the autonumber
field of the main form. Its date field is set to equal
the main form's date open field. You can see that the
changes have been made within the form but it will not
allow updating.
I've checked how I did the other subforms within the
master form and there does not appear to be any
difference. I can go into the other subforms and make
changes.
Do you have any suggestions as to where to look for
possible cause of this condition???
