Form Lock Up

Viral

Hi,
i also manage an access database for more than 40 users.
But mine database is not read only. Users keep on updating
it every time and i also get lot of crashes and also that
message.
better way to work out for this is to send a message
throughout ur 150 users to close the application from
their desktop. After all user closes, u as an admin open
it up from the shared drive(original location) and the
message that u were getting should be gone and a message
box asking for repairing database should pop up..

Click yes and this would repair ur database.

And as a suggesstion u don't want ur user to create a
shortcut on their desktop..better to copy the original
database and paste it on their desktop.

this way there would be on one in the master database at
any time.
Try out this and let me know whether it helps u or not...

thanxs
