form not maximizing

Ihave a form on which I put a command button to open a
report in Print Preview. I have the report set to open
maximized, which works fine. When I close the report
using the "close" icon on the menu bar, the original form
is no longer maximized. It is moved completely below the
screen. I have to switch to Design view, then back to
form view, after which the form is again maximized. I
have the form's "On Open" property set to Maximize, but it
only does when I open that form for the first time. I
have both scroll bars set to "no", but I also tried it
with both bars...no difference. Any ideas?

move the docmd.maximize of the form from the open event to
the activate event (this happens both when the form opens,
and every time it gets the focus back)
the scroll bars doesnt have effect on the size.
