Form only has first entry

Hello,
We have copied our 2009 database and with some small improvements are now
using it as our 2010 database.
When we tried out our improvements last year, they worked.
Come to find out, they worked because we only tried one entry!.
Now our form only shows one entry ( >* is 1 of 1), even though in the table
the others are "logged".
Searching this site We have found that setting the properties to the forms
'data entry' to "No" would seem to be the culprit. But this has always been
set to "No".
Here's the set up:
2009 DB last entry on the form was "QTY" which was the quantity of defects
found.
Our improvement (which is the problem) on this form is that we added
another space to enter the quantity checked (QTY2) as the last entry on the
form. To do this, we simply copied all the properties from the "QTY" to the
"QTY2" also.
We have been taking screen shots of the 2009 vs 2010 database tbl, qy, fm,
mc, rpt...for this form and its relationships, but have so far found only
differenced in the "Tab Space" properties of some items - not something I
think should cause an issue, the differences are usually 1 ( 14 vs 16, 8 vs
9)...
Please help if you can.

When I see a description of copying one year's db to start another year, I
immediately think of ... spreadsheets!

Why are you doing this? Why not have a date/time field in your table that
lets you record data from more than one year?

When you copied it did you add a field to the table to store the data? Did
you bind "QTY2" to the new field?
