Form Properties pane shows up in form view

Hi,

There is an annoyance in Access 2000. If I have made design changes to a
form and open the form in form view, the properties pane often appears. Once
I close it it stays hidden, but I am hoping there is a way to only make it
show in design view.

Someone recently asked the same question here, but it was answered on a
different topic and I have not been able to find the answer.

Any help would be appreciated.

open the form in design view. press F4 or click View, Properties from the
menu bar, to open the Properties box.. click the Other tab. scroll down til
you find AllowDesignChanges, and change the selection to Design View Only.

Thank you, I will try that. Is this one of the 'improvements' in 2000? I
never saw this in Access 97 or earlier.
