my form does not currently direct you to a custom page after you submit it.
instead, it gives you a page that shows what you entered in the form. I know
how to create both, but how can I create a custom page that shows the values
you entered in the form fields?

Use the Insert Confirmation field component.

Jesse wants a custom page to do what the default confirmation page does - show
the fields and data entered by the user on the custom confirmation page.

Jesse, I believe you go to insert menu, confirmation field and put in the field
that relates to the page/form that you want that confirmation page for.
