Sorry ... this is a reprint from two weeks ago ... but
since nobody responded I thought I'd try again.
I have an Access form containing several text box and
command button controls. All these controls have text set
in their [Status Bar Text] property, so when the control
receives focus, Access's status bar should display that
text.
If I open and close a child (modal) form, the Access's
status bar displays "Ready", and the status bar text on
the original "parent" form no longer displays ... it just
continues to display "Ready" as the user tabs from control
to control.
Does anyone know how to "reset" a form so that the status
bar text works properly after opening and closing a child
form??
