Web is very different than paper and is perhaps the primary reason you
should not use Publisher for web design except for maybe very basic pages.
Frontpage is very good and can be easy..or hard..depends on how much time
you want to spend learning it. Yes there is a learning curve. You have to
know the basics of HTML and a little CSS.
Frontpage and Dreamweaver are about the best out there as far as WYSIWYG
(sorta), imo FP is a tad easier to learn than DW, and DW is quite expensive.
You may want to consider getting a webdesigner to get you up and going with
a basic web and then you take it over.
Oh, yeah..you also have to learn how to use a good image editor like
Photoshop, PSP, Photoshop Elements, etc.
.....nothing is easy.
|I don't know how to do a table. I really don't know about how to do a lot
of
| stuff as it deals with html. I like designing pages that look nice for
| paper. This web stuff is different. Would frontpage help me with this
| stuff? As I'm learning publisher is not made to do web pages but will if
you
| make it. I'm lookin for a program that will do a better job but still be
| easy to use. I don't have the time to learn HTML before I get my web site
| going. I can learn as I go along, no problem, but I need to start out
with
| something that's easy. Any suggestions?
