Form Text Field

Hello, I have a word doc (Word 2002) and I want to place a text field at
the top of every page, in the same place. I can't seem to put it in the
header, so is there another way to do this?

About the only other way would be to set up a two-row full-width table, with
a heading row set to repeat on every page, and a second row that contains
the rest of your document.

If you have a text form field anywhere in the form into which the data can
be entered, it can be repeated in the header using a cross-reference to the
bookmark of the form field (each form field has a built-in bookmark). Be
sure to check "Calculate on exit" in the Form Field Options so that the
cross-reference will update automatically.
