I would like a simple form to open up whenever a specific workbook is opened;
it would also be helpful if the 'criteria' window would open first.
The spreadsheet I created (extremely simple) is only three columns:
Column A: generated number (from AS400)
Column B: Bank name
Column C: routing number
I need the form to check to make sure the bank routing number is not being
duplicated.
Our software doesn't check to see if the bank has already been added, so
theoretically we could keep adding the same bank in the system. It assigns
it a different system generated number each time we add a bank, even though
it is same name and routing number.
Since you can have multiple routing numbers with the same bank name - there
can be a 100 First National Banks, but each one will have a different routing
number.
