I have a form in Acc03 that has 2 subforms. One subform is a datasheet that
allows users to enter transactions performed throughout the day. The other
form allows users to enter time used for things other that transactions. The
main form holds the date, user name and summary information. The users are
getting the "could not update currently locked" error at different times
through out the day. The database options are set to Shared, Edited Records
and Open databases using record-level locking.
1) how can I solve this problem
2) in Acc97 if locking occurs the message would read "could not update,
currently locked by Username". How can it get it to show in Acc03?
