form will not open when emailed to others

i designed a new form for work. when I send it to others to start using, they
open it and find a blank email.

The form needs to be published to the Organizational Forms library, with the "Send form definition with item" box unchecked. See http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=61

Where did you publish it?

And did you have the box for sending the form with the item checked? That is a
no! no!

For now i have it saved as a document as i am waiting for approval to publish
it. As for the check box you are referring to, I havent seen that one yet.

Thanks guys! Corporate just approved my form to be published and now it
works like a charm. Now I cant wait for us to get 2007 so there will be
templates for forms!

Where is that located at?

It is a good thing to ask, as one would not find it at a casual glance. In
design mode, look on the properties page. In the left-hand column, right under
the set password box. You can't miss it.
