I've created a Form with a Pie Chart (not the Pivot-type...just a static
chart). It charts data from a query.
The chart looks fine when viewed on the Form. However, I really need others
on the office network to be able to open up the Pie Chart in their IE
Browsers.
I saved the Form containing the Pie Chart as a Data Access Page. But when I
open it in a browser, all I see is the background color of the form....the
chart is simply not there.
A Form with a Pivot Chart WILL display when saved as a DAP, just not the
"regular" charts. I'm needing to use the regular ones for the more flexible
labeling and formatting options.
I am using Access 2002. It has all the updates installed. The IE browser
I've attempted to view the DAP with is version 6+. I noticed a download on
MS site called Office Web Componnents, but the site states that it is
installed automatically with Office XP products.
The SaveAs process seems to work fine (no errors, etc). But when viewed in a
browser, the Pie Chart is simply gone.
It would make a big difference for other departments to be able to view
charts in this manner. Has anyone else had this problem and / or know a
solution?
Thanks
