Form with tables

Hi
I have created a form with the use of tables.
I would like to protect the form so that the user can only enter data in the
table's cells that are empty.
I have one table the contains checkboxes in it.
When I select to protect the document. Everything in the form is protected
except those cells with the checkboxes in them.
What I am I doing wrong??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
Kimberly

Hi Kimbery, I'm not sure if you know about the Forms
option in Word, but I think that is the best solution to
your problem. First save your document as a template.
Then place form fields and checkboxes in each cell you
wish the user use. To do this open the "forms" toolbar
and use the textbox (picture of a "AB") and checkbox
fields. After you are done with entering all the form
fields in the document lock down the document. To do
this, open the "forms" toolbar and click on the little
lock. Save the template and you are all set.

Hope this helped,
David T.

Double click on the check box when the form is unprotected. Locate the box CHECK BOX ENABLED and remove the check mark in front of it. This will leave the box visible, but prevent entry.
