The form I developed using Access 2000 no longer works. When I click on one of the command buttons, like Exit To Windows, I get the following error message: "File Not Found: VBA6.DLL". Nor can I redevelop the command button. The Wizards no longer work
Background. I run XP on my computer and use Office 2000. Recently, my computer had a virus and I took it to a computer service. The technician got rid of the virus, but had to reinstall XP. He told me all my original files were on the PC, but that I would have to reinstall software. I reinstalled Microsoft Office 2000, but cannot get Access to work properly
Thinking that maybe I had to reinstall Service Packs 1 & 2, I attempted to download Service Pack 1 from the Microsoft Page. That was not successful. I got the following error message: "Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Update does not complete successfully. For assistance, contact Microsoft Technical Support. See the log file: Office 2000 SR-1 Setup(0003).txt.
Anyone have any ideas how I can restore my Access to working condition
