Form won't save to database and I get confirmation page that it do

I’m using FP 2003 to send info to an Access 2003 database that was created
using the database wizard feature. The form and all the settings appear to be
correct and when I submit I get a confirmation page that indicates that it
was saved. However, when I check the database the information isn’t there.
The server has FP extensions turned on and asp is allowed as well as all the
other options. I’m using ftp to transfer the files to the server because when
I try publishing in FP using the ftp option I get the following error

500 Invalid PORT Command
500 ‘LPRT 6,16,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,81,5,145,124,24,10,20,0,2,16,115’: command
not understood.


I’ve done this many times before but can’t seem to get it to work here. I
think it’s a server setting but don’t know what. We are using Windows Server
2003.

Don't mix FTP and FrontPage access, ever.

Forget about your form problem for a bit and fix your FrontPage problem
logging in, THEN fix your form.

Start by reinstalling FP extensions on the web site and then throwing away
your FTP program.

Using FTP will corrupt the FrontPage extensions - you should be
publishing using HTTP. The extensions will have to be repaired or
re-installed before trying this.
File->Publish Site type in the destination in the form
http://domainname.com

The problem is possibly caused by incorrect permissions on the folder
storing the database, which is usually the fpdb folder when using the
database wizards.
If you open the live site in FrontPage (File->Open Site and choose or
type in http://domainname.com) then File->Import a .mdb file into the
site FrontPage will offer to move it into the fpdb folder and will
usually correct the permissions. Delete the unwanted file.
