IN Outlook and in Word 2003, setting a formating change (bold, underline,
bullet, etc) to a single line sets the resulting total formatting of the line
to the entire document. Hitting Undo removes the whole-doc format change and
leaves the single line with the change, resulting in what the original intent
was.
For example, if I select a line that has underlining and bold, and
bullet-point it, the entire doc is set to bold, underlined and bulletpointed.
If I then Undo, the doc reverts and the single line is underlined, bold and
bulletpointed as expected. If I select more than 1 line (i.e., include a
carriage return) this doesn't happen.
This is maddening. I've tried updating, re-installing, etc. Anyone know what
this is or seen it?
