Hi, I'm hoping someone can help. I am trying to do a mail
merge from an access dbase table to word. All is working
fine except for two formatted fields. One is a date field
which is set to short date dd/mm/yyyy in the table but
shows as dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss AM
Is there a way to make it stay as a short date?
The other field is a currency field in the access table but
just shows as 25.34 instead of $25.34
Is there a way to add the dollar sign?
Just one other question while I'm asking. Can the merged
document be saved so it retains the data but is no longer
linked. i.e How could I save just the word document and
information to a floppy without the dbase and retain the
information I guess similar to a paste special/values in excel?
Any help greatly appreciated.
